Thank you for trusting In Good Company Nutrition with someone in your care. I work collaboratively, ethically, and with deep respect for the complexity of food, body, and health.

I regularly receive referrals from:

  • Therapists & counselors

  • Primary care providers

  • OB-GYNs & endocrinology providers

  • Psychiatrists

  • Physical therapists

  • Dietitians & healthcare professionals

In Good Company Nutrition works best for adults (18+) who are:

  • Navigating disordered eating or eating disorders

  • Feeling stuck in cycles of food guilt, control, or burnout

  • Living with ADHD, PCOS, IBS, or other conditions where nutrition advice has felt overwhelming or contradictory

  • Seeking weight-inclusive, non-diet nutrition care

  • Wanting support that is collaborative rather than prescriptive

My approach is non-diet, weight-inclusive, and grounded in medical nutrition therapy. Sessions are collaborative and paced to the individual.

Who your clients will be sitting with

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Alison, an easy-going, client-led dietitian who believes nutrition care should feel safe.

That means my work might include:

  • Talking through food struggles without judgment

  • Brainstorming creative, realistic supports

  • Using humor when things feel heavy

  • Letting rest count

  • Making space for neurodivergent brains, sensitive bodies, and real life

There’s no one “right” way to eat here.
I work with clients to build a way of eating that works with them and for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with adults who are tired of dieting, struggling with their relationship with food, or feeling disconnected from their body’s cues. Many clients come in dealing with food anxiety, chronic dieting, disordered eating patterns, body image concerns, or simply feeling stuck with nutrition advice that hasn’t worked for them.

You do not need to have a diagnosed eating disorder to work together.

  • My work is grounded in a weight-neutral, non-diet framework. I focus on nourishment, stabilization, and reducing harm rather than weight manipulation. I do not prescribe intentional weight loss as a treatment goal.

  • No. Clients do not need a formal diagnosis or referral to begin nutrition counseling. That said, I welcome referrals from providers and am happy to coordinate care when appropriate and with client consent.

  • I provide outpatient nutrition counseling via telehealth. I do not offer intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or residential care, but I’m happy to help assess when a higher level of care may be indicated and support referrals.

  • Yes. With appropriate releases, I regularly collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other members of a client’s care team. I value clear communication, shared goals, and a cohesive treatment approach.
